On May 20th, 2025, I had the pleasure of co-hosting a series of live chemistry demonstrations at the University of Gdańsk for students visiting from Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących nr 2 in Kwidzyn.
The event was organized by the Scientific Circle of Chemical Business — a group I’m actively involved in. Alongside a great team of students, we ran hands-on experiments that covered everything from color-changing reactions and glowing liquids to gas evolution and stretchy polymers.

The goal? Make chemistry exciting, a little dramatic, and very memorable. |
We wrapped it up with an open Q&A session, where we talked about life at the faculty, what it’s like to study chemistry, and where it could all lead.
It was one of those moments that reminds you how powerful science communication can be — not just showing what we know, but sparking curiosity in others.
Cheers! Wiktor
