This year’s 7th edition of the ChemBiŚ conference (Chemistry – Business – Environment) was once again an absolute blast — and I’m proud to say I had the privilege of participating not just as a speaker, but also as an organizer for the fourth time. Last weekend (07-08 June) was really an intense one.
As a participant (third time around!), I presented my talk:
“Predictive Chemistry vs. the Realities of Implementation – Translational Challenges from Molecule to Market.”
The session focused on bridging the gap between scientific innovation and its practical, market-ready deployment — a theme close to my heart as a digital chemistry student passionate about real-world impact.

This year, I also had the pleasure of chairing an oral communication session, and — on behalf of the Chemical Business Student Club at the University of Gdańsk — selecting the best poster and presentation. It was a great honor to highlight the efforts of fellow students and researchers bringing their best to the stage.

Beyond the formalities, ChemBiŚ is always a melting pot of perspectives — a chance to learn from others with different takes on chemistry, spark new ideas, and reflect on my own work. And of course, catching up with friends I met during previous editions was the cherry on top. Conferences are great for knowledge, but even better for people.
Stay tuned, Wiktor
